| I am finally home!!!! My dad came and picked my brother and I up on Wednesday this week. Laura came with us too because her dad was here at my house....so they just went home from here on Thursday. It has been raining sooooooo much around Kenya, it rained the whole 3 hours home the other day! That is un-heard of for around here! Exams and the last few days at school were killer. I totally failed some of my exams but i can't complain....because i only had two exams to take while some people had a ton to take! So no complaints there. Thanksgiving day was kinda blah. Not much happened. Laura was here until after lunch....we had T-day lunch at Manchester's house  It was a blast. It felt like a real American Thanksgiving. Mom wasn't there though...she was at work that day until 10 in the evening....they had a lot of stuff to do in the Nursing School. Anyways....we got to talk to a lot of the family that night too....it was really nice. I have been babysitting a lot. There is a family here with three adorable little boys. Their youngest one is 6 months old and i have been watching him for the last few days and will continue over this vacation! I love him to death so of course i don't mind!!!!! | It is only 10 days until the end of term!!!!! I am so excited and yet at the same time i am so scared because i know that once this term is over, the next two terms are going to fly by and we will be at graduation!!!! :( I can't handle that.
Some good news.....The finals were on Friday and we WON!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guys Soccer won against Rosslyn 5-4 in PKs. And Girls Basketball won against Hillcrest 30-28 in like the last second of the game!!!!! It was so exciting. They were the most intense games of the season!!!!

| Ok....is it just me or is this year getting longer as it goes on? Now don't get me wrong or anything...i am still really enjoying this year....its just that things are happening and it feels like some parts of my life are spinning out of control and i don't know what to do about it anymore! Maybe it is just me and it will get better soon enough!
Well...this last week was SEW (Spiritual Emphasis Week) here at school. It was REALLY good The theme this year was LOST. Yes...like the TV show. The leadership team even made their own version of the show. It was creative..thats for sure. I must say that i do enjoy the real show better (no offence guys!) but the more episodes of their version that i watched...the more real it became to me! Weird how that happens huh? Anyways...the speaker was like none that we have ever had here before. He actually spoke to our minds and none of the emotional stuff that we get pounded with every year. It was also very applicable to all of us seniors this year. Stuff we can actually use as we venture into the real world next year. It was awesome. The guy was Dr. Bill Brown. He is the president of Cedarville University in Ohio. He talked about worldviews and how we can "Engage our culture with the heart and mind of Christ". It was very cool.
All right all right...moving on. Like i said before, some parts of my life just feel like they are spinning out of control and things are getting pretty crazy around here! But i will spare the details so that i can save myself some face, if you get what i mean! Just pray for me would you all? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

| Ok i know it hasn't been that long since i have written but i just have to update you all on the news! Jean (Jon) Luc (Luke) Duronslet was born at 1:12am to my cousin Janine and her proud husband Jean Paul! He weighed in at 6lbs 8ozs and was 18 inches long. He has a FULL head of really black hair and is like the cutest baby in the world. He was very alert after he was born even though he had been trying to get out for 26 hours! They say that he has little dimples on his cheeks when he smiles :) So that is my news.... Check out my pics because i stuck one on there of him! Lizz | | |

Ok.... So sorry that once again it has been so long since i have written! Sometimes i really make myself sick! Neways....its not like that much has been going on to write about so i guess that is why huh? I don't know maybe. I am home on midterm now so i think that is why i have time to write on this thing. Its been fun so far. I have slept so much that it really is not funny. No, like i am being so totally serious! We had a teen night at our house tonight. It was fun i guess....for a while anyways. I don't know.....the teens around here...well we sometimes struggle. Especially with adam and everyone gone! So hurry back y'all! I do actually have two papers that i should be writing....thats what tomorrow is for though. I do have work to do. OH yeah....the good news. Right now in the states my cousin is getting ready to have a baby! I am so excited...it should only be a few more hours until the baby is born! So i am not sleeping until it happens. Well....we will see....i am so tired right now. I don't know if i can last. But whatev. I will try. So i need to go get my movie marathon for the night started. Peace out y'all! LIZZ | | |
